Susan Pinkley, MA, LPC
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Virginia Tech. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. My experience and training have been in private practice, community mental health agencies with adults, and in school counseling with children and teens of all ages. Prior to my counseling career, I worked as an educator at both the high school and elementary school levels.
My philosophy is to encourage the importance of living every day with joy, integrity, and courage. I believe each person has the potential to lead a happy and meaningful life. I facilitate the exploration of clients’ concerns to promote wellness, personal growth, and positive life changes. I work together with the client to develop strengths, reach goals, and foster emotional healing.
I love working with people and deeply respect the courage to take risks and acknowledge changes clients want to make in their lives. I believe in the power of therapy to inspire hope and assist people in improving their quality of life.
